About Us

A successful retreat is about alchemy, skillfully combining elements to create a transformative experience. At Manoir Mouret, the house, its gardens and the surrounding area form the perfect stage on which people can create magic!

The House

This sensitively restored, elegant "maison de maitre" and its barns were built in the 1850s by the village's master winemaker. With 12 bedrooms, many living & dining areas and extensive facilities Manoir Mouret provides a perfect year-round venue for retreats dedicated to wellbeing, in all its forms.

Manoir Mouret is also a fabulous place for holidays with family and friends. If you'd like to know more please visit our holiday website Manoir Mouret Holidays.

The Garden

Manoir Mouret has 5 acres of land with mature trees, landscaped gardens and views over the surrounding countryside. At the heart of Manoir Mouret is our large organic potager. We grow many varieties of fruits and vegetables, over 30 on our last count, and everything is grown to be shared with our guests.

It's a year round labour of love which underpins everything we do at Manoir Mouret.

The Area

Manoir Mouret overlooks the small village of Andillac in South West France. We are about 1 hour north of the vibrant city of Toulouse with its frequent international flights.

The area is rich in history and culture. It is famous for its wine, its medieval hilltop villages and food markets. Cordes sur Ciel, one of France's more beautiful villages, is just 10 minutes away and Albi, a UNESCO city, is also close by.

About Margaret & Jack

We have lived and worked in Andillac for over 10 years and we love it here. This is slow French rural living at it best.

We came originally as winemakers and now we're fulfilling our passion to share Manoir Mouret for accessible, joyful, balanced, wellness experiences which also, through Peter's Place, help to do good.

Our personal goal is to live with purpose, passion and parsons terriers.  We would love to welcome you to Manoir Mouret and to share with you this hidden part of rural France.
